Make the Most of your WDS Catalogue!

In some versions of Adobe Reader (notably Version 7) there is an obvious search function. This is identified by an icon with binoculars.

From here, another box appears which allows a full search of the catalogue, including those hard to remember Product - Codes or even trying to locate an item to meet your requirements.

To accurately search for WDS items, a number of search criteria need to be applied in order to find the correct part.

For example if you want to find a 4317-301, simply type 4317-301. For the more complicated part codes, which entail other factors, other criteria needs to be applied. Such as, for a 607-2025 (part identity) x 30 (length), in the search box in Adobe Reader, type 607-2025(space)30.

However, on some versions it is a bit vague as to find this search function. In these circumstances, on your keyboard press Shift, Ctrl and F together. This will bring up a box that is very similar to that illustrated above.
